Below are the courses offered through Virginia Wesleyan University that will be accepted toward completing the 8 prerequisites to apply to the MD program.
- Please note that prerequisite courses must be completed before matriculation to the MD program.
- All required course work must be completed prior to taking the MCAT.
- Pre-requisite courses should not be repeated for poor performance.
Note: Any exceptions must be approved in advance by the Admissions Director or the Assistant Vice Dean of Admissions and Enrollment.
