NOOR LANDS FEATURE ARTICLE IN ME MAGAZINE

For any engineer, there is no question that the future holds an infinite number of problems which will have to be solved.  To most, this seems like a fair statement not to be further pursued until a need requires.

For Dr. Ahmed Noor, professor and eminent scholar in modeling, simulation and visualization engineering, he wants to better understand today what those engineers might be facing in these future endeavors.

In the November 2011 edition of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Mechanical Engineering Magazine, Noor authors the publication's feature article entitled "The World Is More Than Complicated."

In it, Noor explains how engineers' approaches must differ in this ever-evolving world.  What is more, with evidence pointing to the near demise of current methods of engineering, Noor asserts that the complex systems of the future will have to be adaptable, and new approaches will be needed to engineer them.
