GENEDGE ALLIANCE GETS NEARLY $213,000 INVESTMENT FROM U.S. AGENCY
The U.S. Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology will invest over $200,000 in Genedge Alliance, a statewide manufacturing support program based at Patrick Henry Community College in Martinsville.
The program, formerly Virginia's Philpott Manufacturing Extension Partnership, works with small and midsized private companies, connecting them with advisers who can help them identify growth opportunities and improve technology application.
Genedge Alliance operates field offices throughout the state of Virginia and has partnerships with the Old Dominion University Business Gateway and the Manufacturing Technology Center in Wytheville.
