Meeting Will Explore Formation of Organization for Grad Students Interested in M&S
A meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 18, will gauge interest in the creation of a graduate student organization for students interested in modeling and simulation.
The meeting will be held from 12:30-2 p.m. in the Parenting Room (247) of Old Dominion's Child Development Center.
The organization would be designed as an interdisciplinary, student-led group, open to graduate students of all colleges with an interest in all aspects of modeling and simulation.
ODU leads the country in the pursuit of multidisciplinary modeling and simulation research applications through its undergraduate to postdoctoral academic programs, and its Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC) in Suffolk.
Students interested in attending the meeting should RSVP to Holly Gaff, assistant professor of biological sciences and VMASC-affiliated faculty member, at hgaff@odu.edu.
