Road Resurfacing Near Campus Could Cause Traffic Delays
Road resurfacing projects could potentially cause some traffic delays near the Old Dominion University campus over the next two weekends.
Norfolk Public Works has announced that road resurfacing is scheduled to take place on Hampton Boulevard between 21st Street and Redgate Avenue, and on Redgate between Hampton Boulevard and Colley Avenue.
To reduce the impact on traffic, milling will take place the weekend of Aug. 13-14 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Any remaining milling will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. during the week of Aug. 15-19. Paving will take place during the day on the weekend of Aug. 20-21.
