Humphreys Receives J. Worth Pickering Administrator of the Year Award

Glenda Humphreys received the J. Worth Pickering Administrator of the Year Award at the Faculty Awards and Retirement Dinner on May 3.

She has worked at Old Dominion for more than 26 years, including the last three as the vice president for human resources. According to staff at the Human Resources Department, who nominated her, said that a very visible example to HR professionals was ODU's piloting the HR generalist management program for the commonwealth. One of many positive remarks was, "Glenda's reputation for management excellence across the state is what motivated me to seek employment at ODU."
