ODU Board Votes on Tuition and Fee Schedule for 2011-12
Old Dominion University's Board of Visitors approved the tuition and fee schedule for the 2011-12 academic year at its April 7 meeting. For in-state undergraduate students, the combined tuition and mandatory fees total $8,144 for 30 credit hours, which is a 5.7 percent increase over the current academic year. For in-state graduate students, the combined total is $9,350, based on 24 credit hours, which represents a 5.9 percent increase.
In-state undergraduate students who live on campus will see a combined increase of 4.8 percent in tuition, fees and room and board ($16,362 per year), while the combined increase for in-state graduate students will be 5 percent ($17,568 per year).
For out-of-state undergraduate students, tuition and mandatory fees will increase 6.3 percent, to $22,484. Out-of-state graduate students will see an increase of 6.4 percent, to $23,318. When combined with room and board expenses, the comprehensive rates of increase are 5.7 percent and 5.8 percent, respectively.
