Open Forums Scheduled with Candidates for Dean of College of Business and Public Administration
Three candidates have been invited to campus to interview for the position of dean of the Old Dominion University College of Business and Public Administration. Each candidate is scheduled to give a presentation at an open forum for faculty and staff in the college and the campus community. The candidates and their open forum dates are as follows:
Gilbert Yochum - Thursday, Feb. 24, 3-4:10 p.m., Cape Charles/Isle of Wight Room, Webb Center.
Raj Aggarwal - Monday, Feb. 28, 3-4:10 p.m., Hampton/Newport News Room, Webb Center.
Anne McCarthy - Thursday, March 3, 3-4:10 p.m., Hampton/Newport News Room, Webb Center.
Yochum has served as interim dean of ODU's College of Business and Public Administration since July 25, 2010. He joined the university in 1975, and is the director of ODU's Economic Forecasting Project.
Aggarwal is the Frank C. Sullivan Professor of International Business and Finance in the College of Business Administration at the University of Akron. He joined the university in 2006 and served as dean of the business college from 2006-09.
McCarthy has served since 2008 as associate dean for professional programs and visiting professor of management at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. She joined the university in 2007.
