NATIONAL ENGINEERING OPEN HOUSE WEEK CELEBRATION
This year's 60th celebration of National Engineering Week was supported through the efforts of the BCET through several on and off campus activities. These events are important to recognize because they expose parents, students, counselors and teachers to the importance of engineering and its contributions to our quality of life. This year's activities ranged from design competitions to several hand on activities for students. A variety of seminars were also held at NASA Langley and local support of the Engineers Club of Hampton Roads promoted the importance of continued study in STEM related areas. Over 100 participants this year celebrated the National theme of "Engineers Make a World of Difference".
