ODU Economists to Present Regional, National Economic Forecasts January 26

ODU Professors of Economics Vinod Agarwal and Gilbert Yochum will be the featured speakers for Old Dominion University's Annual Economic Outlook Conference on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at the Norfolk Marriott Waterside. Agarwal will present the Hampton Roads Regional Economic Forecast from 10:30 to 11:45 am. Yochum will present the National Economic Forecast from noon till 1:30 p.m.

The regional forecast is free and open to the public. The national forecast and luncheon is $35 for nonmembers. Due to limited space, reservations are required for the national forecast and may be made by calling 683-5138.

The Economics Club of Hampton Roads is an organization for business and government executives and community leaders who share an interest in the practical implications of economic principles, trends and events. It was established in 1991 as a community service by ODU, and is administered by the interim dean of the College of Business and Public Administration, Gilbert Yochum.
