Final Candidates Announced for Position of Director of Equity and Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action
The search committee for the Director of Equity and Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action position at Old Dominion University has invited four candidates to campus for interviews:
- Melvin Mallory, Equal Opportunity Officer, University of Virginia
- S. Lanay Newsom, Attorney and Consultant, Burgess and Associates, Williamsburg, VA
- James R. Robinson, Director of Equal Opportunity, James Madison University
- Nell Russell, Associate Vice President, Diversity/EEO, University of Wyoming
Presentations by each candidate and an open forum with the campus community are scheduled as listed.

James Robinson 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 11th in the Portsmouth Room in Webb Center.
S. Lanay Newsom 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 11th in the Portsmouth Room in Webb Center.
