'Save the Bay' Talk Tonight in Blue Planet Forum

A dialogue of diverse perspectives, "What Will it Take to Save the Bay," will be presented by the Blue Planet Forum at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Nauticus on the downtown Norfolk waterfront.

Panelists will be J. Charles Fox, senior advisor to the administrator, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; William C. Baker, president of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation; and Dennis Treacy, vice president of environmental and corporate affairs for Smithfield Foods. The moderator will be Cathy Lewis, the public broadcasting host for WHRV and WHRO.

The event is free and open to the public, but seats can be reserved online at www.cbf.org/blueplanet or by calling 622-1964.

The Blue Planet Forum: Exploring the Bay and Beyond is sponsored by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Nauticus, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Old Dominion University.
