Harry Boucicaut of Office of Distance Learning Wins Customer Relations Award

Harry Boucicaut, Teletechnet supervisor for the Office of Distance Learning, was named winner of the 2009 Customer Relations Employee of the Year award at the Department of Human Resources Annual Recognition Luncheon on Dec. 9.

Boucicaut, who manages the distribution center at the Gornto Teletechnet Center for Distance Learning, was nominated by his supervisor, Ronald Woodard, director of Transfer Services for the Gornto Teletechnet Center.

"Harry continues to take on new challenges, always with the same level of customer care he is known for throughout the distance learning community," said Woodard.

Woodard also credited Boucicaut, for helping to implement more than $12,000 in cost-saving measures for the department over the last year.

As part of his nomination packet, it was noted that Boucicaut attends every distance learning graduation reception in order to meet the graduates and congratulate them on their achievements.

As winner of the Customer Relations award, Boucicaut received a plaque, a $500 bonus and three days of leave.
