The Jazz Choir and Jazz Ensemble will perform jazz standards and holiday music at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, in Chandler Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

ODU's Annual Madrigal Dinner, featuring the music and food of Italy, will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5, in the atrium of the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center. Tickets are on sale through Dec. 2 by calling 683-5305.

The ODU Brass Choir, directed by Mike Hall, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, in Chandler Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

The ODU Symphony Orchestra and the Wind Ensemble will perform the first Holiday Family Pops concert, to include Concertmaster and violinist Vahn Armstrong performing Vivaldi's "Winter" concerto from the Four Seasons. The concert will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in the atrium of the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center. The concert is free and open to the public.

Now through Sunday, Dec.13, the "Dormitorium: An exhibition of film Décors by the Quay Brothers" is on display at the Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries, located at 4509 Monarch Way in the University Village. The exhibition explores the macabre fantasy world of twin brothers Stephen and Timothy Quay through the highly detailed miniature sets of their influential stop-motion animations. Dormitorium represents the first time the sets (décors) of the London-based Quays have been exhibited in North America. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. The gallery will be closed Nov. 26 and 27.
