Free Information Session About New GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon Program to be Held Nov. 13

Old Dominion University will host a free information session about the new GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon Program from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 13, in the Big Blue Room of the Ted Constant Convocation Center.

Sponsored by the Virginia Tidewater Consortium for Higher Education, the session will include information regarding eligibility, benefits, the application process and more. In addition, Mark A. Brenton, education liaison representative with the Veterans Affairs Regional Office, will make a presentation about the GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Although the information session is free, registration is required. To register for the session, visit http://vtc.odu.edu/development/newgibill.html.

Military leaders, counselors from colleges, universities and military bases, voluntary education officers, Veterans Affairs certifying officials, active-duty personnel, retirees, family members and all other base personnel are encouraged to attend.

Parking is free and available in Garage C, located on the corner of 43rd Street and Hampton Boulevard.
