Contributions to HACE Food Drive Due by Monday, Nov. 23

A record number of employees (155) have been nominated to receive a Thanksgiving food basket this year, and Old Dominion's Hourly and Classified Employees Association asks that members of the campus community give generously between now and Monday morning, Nov. 23, to help make their holiday a bit brighter.

Nonperishable food items are being collected at more than 60 locations throughout the campus. The food boxes will be picked up Monday, Nov. 23, and distributed the following day. Those who forget to bring their food in by Monday can drop off donations from 8-11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, in the Potomac/York River Room in Webb Center.

Monetary donations (with checks made out to HACE) should be submitted to HACE Treasurer Shawnda Green in 219 Koch Hall. These donations will be used to purchase grocery store gift cards, which recipients can exchange for turkeys.
