Forum on 'Dashboards and the Future Data Infrastructure' Set for Friday
The Data Assessment Committee of Old Dominion University's Strategic Enrollment Management Initiative will host a forum, "Dashboards and the Future Data Infrastructure," at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, in room 1002 of Constant Hall.
The forum will provide for a discussion on the future data infrastructure for presenting and disseminating information for evidence-driven decision making and strategic planning for ODU.
As part of the Strategic Enrollment Management Initiative, the Data Assessment Committee has made several recommendations that are strategic to the university and relate directly to the Office of Computing and Communications Services' Business Intelligence Project. The recommendations were presented, approved and are currently being planned and implemented.
Business Intelligence is a strategic endeavor that will allow ODU to make good data-driven decisions at all levels, thus allowing the university to find opportunities, accept new challenges, grow and flourish.
