Alok Verma Presents Invited Lectures in India

Dr. Alok K. Verma, Ray Ferrari Professor and Director of the Lean Institute presented three invited lectures at several premier educational institutions in India during his recent visit in August 2009.

His invited talk titled "An Introduction and Application of Lean and Six Sigma in Governance." was presented to around 20 Faculty and Director of the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), India on August 28, 2009.

Dr. Baswan Director of IIPA also attended the presentation Professor Verma also visited the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi. He met with the faculty and students of the Instrument Design and Development center and presented a talk titled "Lean Product Design Processes - Case Studies in Design for Manufacturing in Shipbuilding". The talk on August 24, 2009 was attended by approx 50 faculty and students from the India's premier engineering college, Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi.
