Actress Robin Givens to Speak on Relationship Violence Oct. 23

Actress and author Robin Givens will talk about relationship violence as part of Old Dominion University's Relationship Violence Awareness Month Friday, Oct. 23.

The talk will be held at 7 p.m. in the North Cafeteria of Webb University Center on the ODU campus. Tickets will be available to the general public starting Oct. 19, at the Campus Information Center, located in the Webb Center lobby.

Givens, a domestic violence survivor, was married to former boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. Her recent book, "Grace Will Lead Me Home," explores the secret legacy of domestic violence and its consequences that haunted her own life and her family.
