Darden College of Education to Host AACE Conference
Old Dominion University's Darden College of Education will host the Association for Assessment in Counseling and Education (AACE) 2009 National Assessment and Research Conference Friday and Saturday, Sept. 11-12.
Featuring high-energy, intensive workshops conducted by nationally known presenters, the conference will focus on assessment, research and diagnosis. It is designed for all professional counselors, counselor educators and supervisors, school testing coordinators, district accountability specialists and graduate students.

A lawyer, counselor and former executive director of the American Counseling Association, Remley will discuss issues related to the ethical considerations regarding admissions testing.
"Our mission is to promote understanding of counseling outcome research, diagnosis and the professional use of counseling, psychological tests and educational assessment tools to benefit the clients and students we serve," said Danica Hays, associate professor of counseling at ODU and the AACE 2009 Conference chair.
