Board of Visitors Passes Hiring Practices Resolution and President Broderick Orders Changes in Response to Audit of Education Outreach Center
The Old Dominion University Board of Visitors adopted a resolution on Thursday, Sept. 17, requiring stricter oversight of employment agreements between the university and elected officials.
Board members passed the resolution after receiving an internal audit ordered by President John R. Broderick of the university's Center for Teacher Quality and Educational Leadership (CTQEL), which for two years ending last month employed Newport News Delegate Phillip Hamilton.
