Safety Alert 8/31

The Norfolk Police Department has advised the university that several women have been harassed and accosted along Hampton Boulevard from the area around the Norfolk Yacht Club down to the Mid-Town Tunnel. Police believe one individual is responsible for these incidents, which have occurred in the past couple of days. Police described the suspect as a white male with a dark complexion and light hair, aged 20-30 years, about 5' 6" - 5' 8" tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. His appearance is disheveled and he may be homeless.
