Economist James Koch to be Featured in a National Broadcast of "With Good Reason" on Boston's WGBH Radio
James V. Koch, Old Dominion University President Emeritus and Board of Visitors Professor of Economics, will be featured on "Arts & Ideas", a documentary showcase produced by the widely-respected WGBH public radio station in Boston.
Koch's discussion is a re-broadcast from "With Good Reason", Virginia's only state-wide public television program. He will discuss his recent book "Born Not Made: The Entrepreneurial Personality." The program will be broadcast on WGBH Boston tomorrow at 9:30 p.m.
In the book, Koch and co-author James L. Fisher came up with a surprising conclusion about entrepreneurs: some individuals are simply more naturally fitted to become entrepreneurs than others; they are prewired. Because of heredity, some people are much more likely to become successful entrepreneurs or pursue entrepreneurial strategies within a corporate setting profitably.
