Broderick Discusses Higher Education Tonight on WHRO's 'What Matters'

Old Dominion University President John R. Broderick will appear on the WHRO television program "What Matters" along with Thomas Nelson Community College interim President Alvin J. Schexnider and William and Mary President Taylor Reveley on Friday, June 5.

During the 30-minute weekly public television program, hosted by Cathy Lewis, the three will discuss how the current economic situation affects education after high school, and what local universities and colleges are doing to promote themselves and help improve the nation's future.

The program will air at 8:30 p.m. Friday on WHRO digital television 15.1. Repeat broadcasts are scheduled for 2:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6; 3 p.m. Sunday, June 7; 9:30 p.m. Thursday, June 11; and 3:30 a.m. Friday, June 12.

A downloadable version of the program will be available on WHRO's Web site, www.whatmatters.tv, after the show's first scheduled broadcast.
