ODU Safety Alert 4/30

Last night, two men entered an unlocked Powhatan Apartments room looking for a specific student.  They both wore masks and one of the men was armed.  Both individuals left without incident when informed the student was not there.

Police believe this incident is related to a previous domestic incident and are interviewing a person they believe has information about the suspects.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 5'9", thin build, wearing black shorts, a black hooded sweatshirt, black Jordan sneakers, and a Halloween mask of a skull. 

The second suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, 5'10", stocky build with large eyes and dark circles under his eyes.  He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, black baseball cap and a wool stocking cap with eye holes cut in it.

If anyone has any information about the suspects or the incident, they are urged to call campus police immediately at 683-4000.

Additionally, please report any suspicious activity to police immediately.
