ODU Announces Temporary Street Closures for Commencement, Maintenance

On Saturday, May 9, traffic on Hampton Boulevard will be stopped at the intersection of 47th Street and Hampton Boulevard and at 49th Street and Bluestone Avenue to allow for the graduation processional. The processional will cross from Webb University Center to the Ted Constant Convocation Center approximately 20 minutes prior to the ceremonies, which start at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

University police will direct traffic on Hampton Boulevard between 43rd and 49th streets and on 49th Street during the graduation processional.

49th Street between Powhatan and Elkhorn avenues will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15, for street maintenance.
