Indian Classical Instrument Concert Set for May 9

An Indian classical instrument music concert will be held on the Old Dominion University campus at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 9, in room 1012 of the Batten Arts and Letters Building.

The concert will feature sitar artist Purbayan Chatterjee, accompanied on tabla by Anubrata Chatterjee.

Sponsored by Sangeet Sargam (the Indian Cultural Arts Society of Hampton Roads), the performance is free for members of the society and youth under the age of 18. Tickets are $5 for university students and $15 for general admission.
