Yvette Pearson to Discuss Medical Ethics on WHRV's "HearSay" Today

Yvette Pearson, co-director of the Institute for Ethics and Public Affairs (IEPA) at Old Dominion University and an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, will be a guest at noon today on WHRV-FM's (89.5) midday talk show, "HearSay with Cathy Lewis," to discuss stem cell research and reproductive ethics.

Pearson, who has taught at ODU since 2002, is also the senior associate editor for the Journal of Philosophy, Science, and the Law. Her research interest is bioethics, particularly the myriad moral issues surrounding human reproduction, whether it is done via assisted reproductive technology or the old-fashioned way.

A rebroadcast of the program can be heard at http://www.whro.org/home/publicradio/whrv/localprogramming/hearsay/.
