Yetiv's Op-Ed in Christian Science Monitor
Steve Yetiv, Old Dominion University professor of political science, wrote an op-ed article, "Reports of America's decline are greatly exaggerated: Six reasons why US economic clout will endure," that appeared in the March 12 edition of The Christian Science Monitor.
In his article, Yetiv comments on several key factors that continue to make the United States a major player in the economic and political arena.
Yetiv's recent book, "The Absence of Grand Strategy: The United States and the Persian Gulf (1972-2005)," analyzes the evolution of U.S. foreign policy in the Persian Gulf, offering a "provocative and panoramic view of American strategies in a region critical to the functioning of the entire global economy."
