World-Renowned Investment Consultant Zvi Bodie to Speak at Economics Club Luncheon March 25

Author and world-renowned investment consultant Zvi Bodie will speak to the Economics Club of Hampton Roads Wednesday, March 25.

The luncheon begins at noon and will be held at the Norfolk Marriott Waterside Hotel. The cost of admission is $35 for nonmembers. Due to limited space, reservations are required and may be made by calling 683-5138.

As the author of "Worry-Free Investing: A Safe Approach to Achieving Your Lifetime Financial Goals," Bodie has challenged many long-held investment concepts. His textbook "Investments," is the market leader and is used in the certification programs of the CFA Institute and the Society of Actuaries. He is also the author of "Financial Economics," a textbook he co-authored with Nobel Prize-winning economist Robert C. Merton.

Bodie is the Norman and Adele Barron Professor of Finance at Boston University, and has served on the finance faculty at Harvard Business School and the Sloan School of Management at MIT. He is a member of the Pension Research Council of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
