Select Screenings at Film Festival Moved to Naro Cinema

There has been a change of venue announced for one of the sites screening films at the ON Film Festival around campus next week.

Two sets of film screenings on Thursday, March 26 have been relocated to the Naro Cinema at 1507 Colley Avenue, from the Big Blue Room of the Ted Constant Convocation Center.

The 5-7 p.m. block contains short films Money Please! And Not Sacks, and the independent feature film Under The Snow.

The 7:30-9:30 p.m. screenings include short flims Vitruvius' Toybox and The Cave, and mini feature Pinhas.

Changes to the Film Festival Schedule have been reflected on the festival Web site. But the venue change happened too late to be included in the film festival flier.

The 2009 INDIE ONFILMFEST opens March 25th with a free event featuring Academy Award-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss at ODU's Constant Center. Top independent films from around the world will be screened March 26-28 with parties, panels and special events, including the 2009 ONFILMFEST Award Winners' Marathon at the Naro Cinema (3/28) and the Awards Gala that evening (3/28) at the Granby Theater with filmmakers, industry celebs and dancing to the Rhythm Kings, emceed by Nicole Livas of WAVY TV10 and Fox 43 (cash bar).
