Parking Lots 5, 19 and 20 Closed Over Spring Break
Three university parking lots -- 5, 19 and 20 -- will be closed Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13 for survey and construction work.
Parking lot 5, which is located next to Foreman Field behind Koch Hall and near Rollins Hall, will be closed so crews can drive piles for a new football scoreboard in Foreman Field. The lot is the only access to the area of the stadium where the scoreboard will be located and contractors will need to move large equipment, including cranes, and 80-foot-long piles through the area.
Parking will be available in garage E and parking lot 1.
Parking lots 19, by the Child Study Center, and 20, behind Kaufman Hall, will be closed for surveying work for the future Systems Research Building. Lot 20 will be closed the entire week and lot 19 will be closed Monday, March 9, only. The circular drop-off area in front of the Child Study Center will remain open.
Vehicles will still be able to access lot 29 in front of the Batten Arts and Letters Building and lot 39 in front of the Perry Library.
Parking will be available in the 43rd Street Garage for those displaced from lot 20.
