ODU-Bradley Game to be Televised at 8 P.M. Tonight, Local Restaurants Hosting Watching Parties
Fans of the Old Dominion men's basketball team will be able to watch Tuesday's inaugural College Insider.com Tournament championship game at 8 p.m. EST.
The game will be broadcast live on Fox College Sports and can be seen locally on DirecTV (channel 617), Charter Cable (channel 304) and Verizon Fios, in addition to being streamed live, free of charge, at www.foxcollegesports.com.
In addition, the following restaurants near the ODU campus will host TV parties: Monarch Sports Grille in the Marriott Springhill Suites, 45th Street and Hampton Boulevard; University Pizza, 5008 Colley Ave.; and A.J. Gators, 244 Granby St. in downtown Norfolk.
The Monarchs will face Bradley University for the postseason tournament title. The game will be played on the Braves' home court in Peoria, Ill.
ODU improved to 24-10 on the season with a CIT semifinal victory over James Madison University Thursday night, 81-43. The Monarchs are led by junior forward Gerald Lee, an All-CAA First Team selection who is averaging 15.5 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
Bradley improved to 21-14 with a 59-49 win over Pacific in the semifinals and has won eight of its last 10 games, including six straight at home.
