The campus community is reminded to take precautions to keep yourself and your friends and colleagues safe.  Visit the university's Campus Safety web site at http://studentaffairs.odu.edu/safety to learn safety tips, sign up for the ODU Alerts system, and anonymously report information about a crime.  The web site also contains important phone numbers, including police, campus escort service and counseling services.

Additionally, the university has extended both the hours and the routes of its campus shuttle system and students, faculty and staff are urged to utilize this service especially in the late evening hours.  More details about the shuttle service are available at the Campus Safety web site.
