Economy.com and ODU Economists to Present Economic Forecasts Jan. 14

Cristian deRitis, director of credit analytics for Moodys Economy.com, will be the featured speaker for Old Dominion University's Annual Economic Outlook Conference on Wednesday, Jan. 14, as part of the Economics Club of Hampton Roads series.

deRitis' presentation will focus on labor, housing and mortgage markets.

Presenting the regional forecast will be the ODU Economic Forecast Team of Vinod Agarwal, Mohammad Najand and Gil Yochum.

Both presentations will be held at the Norfolk Marriott Waterside Hotel. The national forecast luncheon is $35 for nonmembers of the Economics Club, while the regional presentation is free to the public. The Economics Club of Hampton Roads is an organization for business and government executives and community leaders who share an interest in the practical implications of economic principles, trends and events. It was established in 1991 as a community service by ODU, and is administered by the dean of the College of Business and Public Administration, Nancy A. Bagranoff.
