ODU Hosts Eighth Annual "Illumination: An Annual Holiday Tradition"

A gingerbread cookie decorating contest and holiday music will be among the highlights of Old Dominion University's eighth annual "Illumination: A Holiday Tradition," Wednesday, Dec. 3.

Free and open to the public, the festival will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the North Mall of Webb University Center. The program and reception will begin at 5:15 p.m. on Kaufman Mall.

Alternate rain site: North Mall at Webb University Center.

The ceremony will also feature a holiday musical performance by the Monarch Marching Band and the Larchmont Elementary School Chorus.

Refreshments and snacks will be served.

The event is also a charitable donation drive. Please bring non-perishable for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. Donations will serve as tickets of admission for the cookie decorating contest.

Parking will be available in garages on the corner of 43rd St. and Elkhorn Avenue.
