Election 2008: ODU Political Scientists Provide Local and National Commentary
Faculty members from Old Dominion University's political science department have been tapped by local media and CNN to comment on this year's elections, and will guest host a blog tonight on WAVY.com at http://political.wavytv10.com/blogs.
Assistant Professor Joshua Behr was interviewed Friday by CNN about the Virginia elections, as well as by The Virginian-Pilot about the effects of weather on voter turnout and polling practices. The latter story also appeared in Hispanic Business.
Assistant Professor Jesse Richman will blog online for WAVY.com from 8-10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, offering an analysis of the incoming election results. WAVY-TV interviewed Richman earlier this month about voter registration in Virginia and in August about the state elections. The Virginian-Pilot interviewed him about the local elections.
