BCET Increase Its International Collaborations

Romania's University "Politehnica" of Bucharest  and Carol I National Defence University (Romania) the ODU's Frank Batten College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) have entered into an academic agreement for mutual cooperation in teaching and research at the Master's and Ph.D. level.  Under a proposed split program of PhD, teaching and research would be undertaken in all three universities.  ODU will help both UPS, Romania and NDU in the development of PhD teaching courses.

Besides teaching on a reciprocal basis, research will also be undertaken jointly by the three universities.  Ecaterian Andronescu, Rector of UPS, Adrian Badea, Vice-Rector of UPS; Florian Rapan, Commandant and Viorel Buta, Deputy commander for Education of NDP and John Broderick, Acting President, Carol Simpson Provost and Vice President of Academic affairs, and Oktay Baysal, Dean of the Batten College (who initiated the International Memorandum of Understanding) signed.
