Sports Medicine Symposium at ODU Sept. 10-11
The Old Dominion University Sports Medicine Research Laboratory, in conjunction with the Tidewater Sports Medicine Association, will host a symposium titled "Strength Dynamometry: An Evidence Based Practice Approach." It will take place from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, and 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at the River Rooms in the Webb Center. This symposium is for those interested in making more informed choices in assessment, prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries.
Anchoring the symposium are James Onate, director of the ODU Sports Medicine Research Laboratory, and Brent Arnold, director of the Sports Medicine Research Laboratory at Virginia Commonwealth University.
"This symposium is a chance to learn from leading experts the latest evidence-based practice approaches to strength dynamometry through a collaborative effort between the Tidewater Sports Medicine Association, BTE Technologies and Old Dominion University's Sports Medicine Research Lab," said Onate.
