Broderick to Deliver State of the University Address Today

Old Dominion University Acting President John R. Broderick will deliver the annual State of the University address to faculty and staff today at 10:30 a.m. in the Mills Godwin Jr. Life Sciences Building Auditorium.

In the speech, he will officially welcome new faculty and administrators, as well as provide an update on issues relating to the new school year.

Broderick, who was appointed acting president by the Board of Visitors, assumed his duties July 1 following the departure of former president Roseann Runte.

Prior to the speech, a reception will begin at 10 a.m. in the MGB lobby. Faculty planning to attend should RSVP to the Office of Events by Friday, Aug 15.
