Update: Interruption in Telephone Service

Due to a damaged cable, there are several telephone outages across campus, including Kaufman Hall, Visual Arts, Mills Godwin Building, Oceanography/Physics, Koch Hall, Human Resources, Facilities Management, Library, Academic Skills, BAL, Constant Hall, Hughes Hall, Child Development, Health Sciences, Athletics, Benthic Ecology Lab and Engineering and Computational Sciences.

Service is now expected to be restored by Sunday afternoon.

OCCS will continue to post updates regarding the outage on the notices section of www.odu.edu/occs.

Those who need to contact the Facilities Maintenance Support Center for maintenance issues unrelated to the telephone outage may do so by visiting the Maintenance Direct Request Site at:  www.odu.edu/md.

The site provides instructions on how to gain access, submit work orders and track previously submitted items.
