Perry Library Art Gallery Features Edith White Retrospective

"Shapes and Scapes," a retrospective exhibit of paintings by local artist Edith R. White, will be on display through June 13 in the new University Libraries art gallery, located in the west-side hall on the first floor of Perry Library.

White studied art with Alfred Khouri, Lorraine Fink, Joan Folsom and Norman Goodwin, and has exhibited in local art shows for 20 years. A graduate of Vassar, she is a retired librarian, a book reviewer for The Virginian-Pilot and a storyteller.
