Center for Learning Technologies' Abdous and He to Receive Best Paper Award
M'hammed Abdous, director, and Wu He, instructional technology specialist, of the Old Dominion Center for Learning Technologies, have been selected to receive a Best Paper Award at the annual Distance Learning Administration conference. The award will be presented at the DLA 2008 conference in Jekyll Island, Ga., June 22-25.
The paper, titled "Streamlining Forms Management Process in a Distance Learning Unit," describes a system that was designed to streamline the management of required forms for face-to-face, hybrid, online and televised courses. The system provides faculty and distance learning administrators with an easy method to manage forms effectively and efficiently. This paper was also published in the Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration: (http://www.westga.edu/~distance/ojdla/summer102/).
The DLA conference is sponsored by the Online Journal of Distance Learning Administration and the University of West Georgia. It attracts distance learning administrators, trainers and executives from across the globe.
