ODU's School of Nursing Hosts Health Fair Saturday

The Perinatal Community Health Clinical Group of Old Dominion University's School of Nursing, in partnership with the Office of Minority Health (OMH), will host a health fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Young Terrace Community Center in Norfolk. It is free and open to the public.

The theme of the health fair was inspired by the OMH campaign "A Healthy Baby Begins with You." Women of childbearing age are especially encouraged to attend to receive information about the "10 Steps to Having a Healthier Baby."

Representatives from more than 20 local health and safety organizations will be on hand to provide information about their services and give short presentations.

For more information call Mary Ann Notarianni at 683-5093 or visit the OMH Web site at http://www.omhrc.gov/templates/browse.aspx?lvl=2&lvlID=117.
