Governor Kaine Helps Mark 10th Anniversary of VMASC

Speaking to about 150 supporters of the modeling and simulation industry, Gov. Tim Kaine helped commemorate the 10th anniversary of ODU's Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center on Wednesday afternoon in Suffolk.

He spoke of the special relationship between higher education, economic development and military forces that comes together in this "very important initiative," and cited M&S as "a pillar on which the economy is going to rest, especially here in this region."
