ODU's Najand to Appear on Mix11 Television Program Tonight

Dr. Mohammad Najand, professor and chair of the finance department in Old Dominion University's College of Business and Public Administration, will be a guest on Mix11, a new television program on Cox Communication's channel 11, tonight at 7 p.m.

Mix11 is hosted by MIX Magazine Publisher and General Manager Dee Dee Gee and focuses on multicultural news and lifestyle.

Dr. Najand will speak about the national rate of housing foreclosures related to sub-prime loans and compare those statistics with the rate of foreclosures in Hampton Roads.

He will also discuss the advantages and disadvantages of sub-prime loans and how long it will take for the current inventory of houses on the market in Hampton Roads to clear due to lenders tightening credit.

The program will be re-broadcast on Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m.
