ODU PROFESSOR INJURED IN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT

Dana Burnett, ODU professor and chair of the Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling in the Darden College of Education, was injured in an automobile accident Saturday morning.

According to John Broderick, vice president for institutional advancement and admissions, Burnett was transported to the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.

Burnett was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident, which Virginia State Police say prevented him from receiving more serious injuries.
