GO COLD TURKEY IN SUPPORT OF THE GREAT AMERICAN SMOKEOUT

Old Dominion University will host the Cold Turkey Trot walk/run on Thursday, Nov. 15.

The hour long event will begin in the South Mall at Webb University Center at 12:30. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. It is free and open to the public.

The Cold Turkey Trot is being held in recognition of the American Cancer Society's Great American Smokeout, a campaign to help smokers quit smoking. There will be free information about smoking cessation, giveaways and a chance to win a free turkey.

The Cold Turkey Trot is sponsored by ODU's Student Health Services, Recreational Sports Department, Student Health Advisory Committee and Colleges Against Cancer.
