ROCKY HORROR SHOW OPENS TONIGHT, CONTINUES SAT.

Richard O'Brien's musical, "The Rocky Horror Show," directed by Katherine Hammond, kicks off the 2007-08 season at the Old Dominion University Theatre Friday, Oct. 19 at 8 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 20, there will be two showings: 8 p.m. and midnight. Midnight shows for this production will feature costume contests and prizes. Tickets are $10 for ODU students with college ID, $15 general admission.

This live stage musical is fast, fun and sexy, and is sure to tantalize with its naughty humor. The timeless camp classic follows squeaky-clean sweethearts Brad and Janet, who happen upon the feisty Frank-n-Furter and rippling Rocky. The cast includes students from the ODU dance, music and theater departments. To view a video trailer of the performance, go to www.odu.edu/al/theatre

Additional performances will be Thursday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. and midnight, and closes Saturday, Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. University Theatre is located on Hampton Boulevard between 46th and 47th Streets.
