E-WASTE RECYCLING EVENT RUNS THROUGH SATURDAY

Old Dominion University is helping the community and the environment at the same time by hosting its first-ever E-Waste Recycling Event Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 11-13.

The event, held in coordination with Hollins University, the University of Richmond and Virginia Tech, is a statewide effort to safely dispose of old computers, electronics equipment and related items for recycling. It is free and open to the public.

The times are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Thursday and Friday are scheduled for drop-offs from businesses, students, schools and nonprofit organizations, while Saturday is for the general public.
